The Society for Study of Pain Pune (SSPP) was founded in 2014 by a group of visionary senior pain physicians dedicated to advancing the field of pain management. Conceived as a platform for clinicians, educators, and researchers, SSPP has played a pivotal role in strengthening pain medicine—an emerging superspecialty evolving from anaesthesiology.
Through consistent dedication, the Society has been honoured with the National Best City Award, demonstrating professional excellence and reinforcing our growing influence across India.
